Mikey is the younger brother of Gerard way. He learned bass to join the band because they didn't have a bassist at the time. Mikey came up with the bands name which came from the book Ecstacy: Three Tales of Chemical Romance while he working at a Barnes and Noble bookstore. Mikey sadly suffers from bipolar disorder. He loves coffee and latte's like his brother Gerard. Most of you knew Mikey as the cute dork with glasses and brown hair but he died it black and got laser eye surgery. But he is still cute as ever Mikey married Alicia Simmons on March 8, 2007. He left the band for a short time to spend some time with her and is back.
